Isaac and Mary Good Scholarships

Isaac and Mary Good served as civic, art and church leaders in Chickasha's earliest days.

Five scholarships have been established to honor members of the Good family by Yoshie Good of Chickasha. The Isaac and Mary Good Scholarships were established in 2011.

The Goods were early residents of Chickasha and served as civic, art and church leaders for more than a century. Early in the year 1900, Good became interested in land development in Oklahoma and established an extensive real estate business that was managed by his son, J.C. Good, and son-in-law, C. Schlotterbeck.

The Goods were the parents of five children and adopted twin girls. Mary preceded Isaac in death in 1937. They were married for 64 years.
