Career Lecture Series
Since 2009, the USAO art department has invited art alumni to return to campus to share their art, work and life since graduation. Jerry Bennett (’93), Lindi Young Collins (’01) and Ali Crouch (’09) spoke during this year’s seminar in March. Art alumni also return to campus to participate as judges for the Montmartre Chalk Art Contest.

Baseball and Softball Reunion
The USAO Baseball and Softball coaches held a reunion for players Aug. 28-29. Former players enjoyed a golf scramble, social mixer, barbeque dinner and games against current Drover players. In addition to the activities, the group raised more than $7,000 toward an indoor practice facility. The next reunion is scheduled for Aug. 27-28 of 2011.

Houston Alumni Gathering
Alumni in the Houston area met to catch up with one another and to hear about the latest news from the university. Attendees included Micheal Palmer (’80), Nan Bilbrey Willett (’57), Sharon Erickson Agnew (’69), Nance Foules Wier (’45), John Willett and Dr. Michael Nealeigh, vice president for university advancement. Not pictured is Eric Feuerborn (’90), director of alumni development. Gatherings are planned for the Dallas and Fort Worth area, as well as Tulsa and Oklahoma City.
